  • OAP: Members at or above UK State Pension age (or retired).

    Services: NHS, Fire & Rescue, Police (incl. MDP), MOD/Armed Forces.

    What we need

    • OAP proof: Passport or driving licence showing D.O.B. (or Bus Pass/validated age card). If retired below State Pension age, a pension/retirement letter.

    • Services proof (one of):

      • NHS photo ID (or email from an @nhs.net address)

      • Blue Light Card (current, in your name) + photo ID

      • Police warrant card / MDP warrant card

      • Fire & Rescue service ID

      • MOD-issued identity card (e.g., MOD90) / Armed Forces ID

    When & how to verify

    • Show at reception before first use.

    • Until verified, discounted access may be paused.

    • Re-verify annually (or when your ID/Blue Light Card expires).

  • Full- or part-time students aged 16+ at a recognised school/college/university or apprenticeship programme.


    Under 18s: parent/guardian consent required for membership and PAR-Q.

    Proof we accept (one of):

    • Student ID card showing name & expiry/year

    • Letter/email of enrolment for the current academic year

    • Student number + confirmation email from the institution (e.g., .ac.uk / college domain)

    • TOTUM/NUS card (current) (screenshots of third-party apps alone aren’t accepted)

    When & how to verify
    Show at reception before first use. Re-verify each academic year. Until verified, discounted access may be paused.

    Fair use
    If proof isn’t supplied/valid, your plan switches to Standard from the next billing date.

  • 1-month plan: Auto-renews. Member required to self-manage membership.

  • 6-month plan: Auto-renews. Minimum term 6 months. 3 months’ notice required to cancel after the minimum term.

  • 12-month plan (monthly billing): Auto-renews. Minimum term 12 months. 6 months’ notice required to cancel after the minimum term.

  • 12-month plan (pay upfront): Runs for 12 months, Auto-renews. Non-refundable after 14 days.

  • Supportive coaching and a friendly, rural community

    Free access to the bouldering wall (Climbing shoes not included)

    • Gym memberships include bouldering but not climbing shoe hire.

    • Climbing requires a quick safety briefing and waiver on first visit.

    • You can switch tier at renewal.

  • For your first gym visit, wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing made from breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics like polyester or nylon, along with supportive trainers.
